Jason Goodard of design studio ( amazing landscape architecture firm) called me up and asked me if I would be interested in working with one of his Subdivision developer clients by the name of Joey Smith. Jason assured me that they wanted to do the type of sign that I like to build METAL and STONE!

Everything about the design and selling this sign was very easy, what proved to be extremely difficult was the permitting process in Murfreesboro city. It can be daunting even when you have all your ducks in a row to prepare the Documents necessary to proceed with a monument sign structure.

Sometimes the technical information like future utilities ,right of way, easements and recorded plats get in the way of these monument signs. This one ended up taking more than eight months for the engineering team to be able to produce The necessary documents for me to proceed with permitting processes.

It’s not always that complicated but I’m always willing to put in whatever amount of time is necessary to get these projects done so the contractors, developers, management companies,HOA’s don’t have to think about or learn about what is necessary to get my works of art in the ground.
